Simple Marinade for Meat

The suggested portions for these marinades are about right for a couple of steaks, so if you’re cooking for a bigger gang, just expand the amounts.


  • 3 Spoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Spoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 Clove Garlic , minced
  • 1 Dash Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch Kosher salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper

Whisk together in a baking dish or pan large enough to hold the meat: 3-4 large spoons extra virgin olive oil; 1 spoon Dijon mustard; 1 clove minced garlic; dash of Worchester sauce; pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Rosemary has a woodsy flavor and is a nice addition to a marinade for steak. Sage or rosemary is a great addition to a marinade for lamb, veal and pork.
