Linguine with Shrimp

Shrimp, garlic and lemon are the stars of this recipe. This dish is so easy and so delicious you’ll want to make it a staple every week

ingredients

  • 1/2 Package Italian linguine or spaghetti , cooked according to directions
  • 2 Large spoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Pad Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Cloves Garlic , minced
  • 10 Raw shrimp , peeled and deveined
  • Pinch kosher salt and black pepper
  • 1 Lemon Grated zest and juice
  • 1 Small spoon Fresh Italian parsley , minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Bottled capers

prep / directions

Bring salted water in a large pot to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil and butter in a sauté pan under medium heat and then sauté the minced garlic and capers for 1 minute. Add the shrimp, with salt and pepper and cook for a few more minutes until the shrimp turns pink on both sides. Mix everything together. Serve piping hot. That’s it!
